Seattle Flying Fairies Dance Center is a professional, multidisciplinary dance school dedicated to providing high-quality training in a diverse range of dance disciplines. Our programs include Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, International Standard Ballroom Dance, Latin Dance, Ballet, and specialized youth technique and competitive training.
Our story began in Beijing in 1994, when Teachers Di Yu and Huiying Wang founded the Footprints Dance Arts Center (中国北京足迹舞蹈艺术中心). In 2008, Feitian Dance Arts Center expanded internationally, establishing its first overseas school in Chicago, USA. In 2017, we brought our passion for dance education to the Pacific Northwest with the establishment of Seattle Flying Fairies Dance Center.
With decades of experience in dance education, Teachers Di Yu and Huiying Wang have developed extensive expertise in professional dance training, examinations and assessments, and preparing students for admission to specialized arts institutions. They work closely with dance education programs and professional artists in Beijing, while continuously guiding and developing a dedicated team of instructors. Through our connections among Beijing, Chicago, and Seattle, Seattle Flying Fairies Dance Center strives to create opportunities for cultural and artistic exchange, bringing together diverse traditions, perspectives, and communities through the universal language of dance.
美国西雅图飛天舞蹈艺术中心是一所专业的多元化的艺术学校，以传统的中国古典舞、中国民族民间舞、国际标准舞、拉丁舞、芭蕾舞，以及独具特色的少年竞技技术技巧课等多项专业课程而著称。
本中心的前身是「中国北京足迹舞蹈艺术中心」，由于地⽼师和王惠英⽼师于 1994 年在北京初创。2008 年飛天舞蹈艺术中心进驻美国，在芝加哥创办了第一所海外舞蹈艺术学校「美国芝加哥飛天舞蹈艺术中心」。又于 2017 年進駐美丽的西雅图，成⽴了第二所舞蹈学校「西雅图飛天舞蹈艺术中心」。
于地⽼师和王惠英⽼师多年来致力于舞蹈教育，对艺术类舞蹈学生的专项考试考级、专业院校的学生选送都有着极为丰富的经验和积累。两位⽼师长期联手北京的舞蹈基地以及众多专业艺 术家等进行系统教学，同时带领学校教师团队不断钻研进取，充分实现三地互动，架起了北京、芝加哥和西雅图各所学校的⽂化艺术交流和友谊的桥梁。

Our dance center offers a wide range of dance and fitness programs for both children and adults. Our programs include Dance Rhythm Yoga, which beautifully combines traditional Chinese dance body movement and breathing techniques with flexibility training and yoga poses; Chinese Classical Dance; Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance; Youth Competitive Technique Training; Ballet for Children, Teens, and Adults; Adult Latin Dance, including Rumba, Cha-Cha, Jive, Samba, and Paso Doble; and Dance Foundations for Young Children. Whether you are an experienced dance enthusiast or a beginner looking to stay active and fit through dance, Seattle Flying Fairies Dance Center has a program to help you discover the joy of movement and find the class that is right for you.
西雅图飛天舞蹈艺术中心有着丰富的成人和少儿舞蹈学习和健身课程，包括舞韵瑜伽 (完美的结合身韵呼吸，柔韧性拉伸，和瑜伽体位)，中国古典舞，中国民族民间舞，少年竞技技术技巧课，青少年及成人芭蕾舞，成人单色拉丁舞 (伦巴舞，恰恰舞，牛仔舞，桑巴，和斗牛舞)，和幼儿舞蹈启蒙。无论您是资深的舞蹈爱好者，还是想通过舞蹈来健身运动的初学者，来飛天定能找到合适您的课程。

Each week, we offer a diverse selection of classes for students of all ages, from young children to adults.In addition to our popular Chinese Dance, Latin Dance, Children’s Chinese Dance, Flexibility & Stretching, and Ballet classes, we are excited to offer Intermediate to Advanced Rumba taught by our current Blackpool-based guest instructor.
